Pre-Care Instructions - Things to Know - Neuromodulator

1. Avoid blood thinners (alcohol, aspirin, ibuprofen, garlic, ginseng, gingko and other herbals, fish oil, Aleve and vitamin E) at least 72 hours prior to treatment to avoid risk of bruising and bleeding
2. Avoid waxing, tweezing, retinol/exfoliants, chemical peels, bleaching and hair removal treatments in the area 2-3 days prior
3. Avoid strenuous activity directly before your appointment 
4. If you have a history of cold sores (herpes simplex virus) and plan to treat areas near the mouth, notify Luxe for possible antiviral pre-treatment

Pre-Care Instructions - Dermal Fillers

1. Avoid blood thinners (alcohol, aspirin, ibuprofen, garlic, ginseng, gingko and other herbals, fish oil, Aleve and vitamin E) at least 72 hours prior to treatment to avoid risk of bruising and bleeding
2. Avoid dental work a week prior to treatment
3. Avoid waxing, tweezing, bleaching and hair removal treatments inn the area 2-3 days prior
4. Hydrate and consider starting Arnica Montana 1-3 days prior to treatment to help reduce bruising and swelling
